The successful bidder will be required to furnish , install and train City staff to maintain the requisite equipment and / or services to comply with the specifications detailed herein . Said bidder will also be required to develop and implement such system to the extent described , host said system ( if proposed as such ) and provide access to the site and detailed reports providing the information required . All costs for these services will be per the terms provided herein at the prices bid hereunder . The City of New London will pay only those charges specifically detailed herein . The specifications of this project are an integral part of the City ’ s formal Request for Proposal ( RFP ). All responders are required to review this document in detail and acknowledge their understanding of the technical aspects of this project in order to be considered a responsible Proposer . The long - term goal is to implement a Unified Communications platform for convergence of systems to support citywide communications . The implementation should be done in phases with different buildings going on different days , as moving all phones in one day does not seem possible . Move order will be discussed between vendor and IT department .
