UC Berkeley is seeking submissions to this Request for Proposal from a service provider that can meet and exceed expectations. This project is focused on the reduction of wildfire risk on and around the 800-acre Hill Campus property located in the hills east the Cities of Berkeley and Oakland, and immediately adjacent to UCB and the East Bay Regional Parks. The location of the work is indicated on the attached maps, RFP EXHIBIT 6. Total land area attributed to this project is approximately 24 acres. This work is part of the other fire management plan implementation activities in the Hill Campus. Pre Bid Walk Zoom Meeting on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Respondents must confirm attendance with buyer, via email, to darrin.salswedel@berkeley.edu, no later than Tuesday, May 19, 2026, 4:00 PM. Qualified suppliers are invited to submit proposals, pricing and incentives to the University, based on the information provided in this RFP, with the intent to establish a business alliance with UC Berkeley that will maximize the resources of both organizations to most effectively meet UC’s needs. Validity Period "Validity Period" as used in this provision, means the number of calendar days available to UC for awarding a contract and Purchase Order to a vendor. All proposals will remain available for UC acceptance for a minimum of 120 days following the RFP closing date.
