The University of California, Berkeley (UCB) invites proposals for Shuttle Operations on behalf of Parking & Transportation. Parking and Transportation runs the campus shuttle system which consists of four daytime, fixed routes, two nighttime fixed routes, and one Door-to-Door shuttle on demand. Our shuttles transport over 500,000 passengers a year and serve students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to invite qualified bidders to prepare and submit proposals to furnish buses, maintenance, fuel, and support for the campus shuttle operation to the University of California, Berkeley (“UC Berkeley” or “UC”), in accordance with the requirements set forth in this RFP. Validity Period "Validity Period" as used in this provision, means the number of calendar days available to UC for awarding a contract and Purchase Order to a bidder. All proposals will remain available for UC acceptance for a minimum of 120 days following the RFP closing date.
