Accessibility & Inclusion (A&I) Request for Proposals (RFP), focused on advancing equitable assessment access for all students. This initiative supports the development, integration, and delivery of accessibility resources aligned with Smarter Balanced assessments and standards. Objectives • Ensure high-quality accessibility resources for diverse student populations • Align all resources with Smarter Balanced guidelines and TIMS workflows • Maintain rigorous quality, security, and compliance standards • Support multilingual learners, students with disabilities, and inclusive assessment practices Scope of Work Highlights The selected vendor will be responsible for end-to-end development, validation, and delivery of accessibility resources, including: • Text-to-Speech (TTS) and TTSVI tagging • Braille transcription (UEB/Nemeth) • English and translated glossaries • Illustration glossaries and visual supports • Spanish translation of assessment content All deliverables must be developed and managed within the Test and Item Management System (TIMS), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with Smarter Balanced standards.
