Georgia Museum of Art ( GMOA ) The Georgia Museum of Art , a department of the University of Georgia is in need of maximum storage space of 6000 square feet . This can be across two or more storage units of no less than 2000 square feet each . The storage units must be within a 5 – 10 - mile distance from each other . It is preferred that all storage be on the same property . Additional features required for Georgia Museum of Art : • Storage space must be within 10 miles of GMOA due to the need for frequent access . • Storage space must be temperature controlled and maintain a temperature between 65 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit at all times . • Storage space must have a loading dock or exterior door measuring at a minimum width of 9 ’ 6 ” and minimum height of 7 ’ 8 ” inches at ground level . GMOA prefers that the loading dock or ground level exterior door open directly into the storage unit . • If storage area entry is not on ground level , a Class C1 freight elevator is required for accessing the space . The elevator door must accommodate a loaded pallet jack measuring 48 ” Wide X 64 ” Deep . • Floors , walls and ceiling of the storage area must be clean , dry and free of moisture or mold . • Floors of the storage area must be of durable material such as concrete and have no damaged areas that would prevent or inhibit the use of a pallet jack . • The storage area must have monthly pest control for the exterior . Bidders will provide the monthly cost of pest control in the bid package . • GMOA prefers access to restroom facilities ( nearby in an office or other building if not within the storage area ).
