Description | Installing UV - C germicidal lighting downstream of the cooling coils in Air Handling Units ( AHU - 1 through AHU - 6 ) to inhibit microbial growth on coil surfaces . These services are to be executed during planned outages of no more than four hours per AHU , performed after hours or on weekends , and coordinated with hospital maintenance staff . Notify and coordinate with the contracting officer regarding any major deviations from the plans due to unforeseen or variable field conditions . Coordinate outage timing , access , and security protocols with hospital maintenance and contract Manager . Schedule each ( AHU ) for a maximum four - hour outage to perform installations after hours or on weekends . Comply with all relevant regulations : Building Code of Honolulu , State Department of Health , Uniform Plumbing Code , Uniform Fire Code , National Electrical Code , and all other applicable authorities . |
