Description | UOA currently operates two data centres. One is located on the city campus in the Owen G Glenn building (OGG) on Grafton Road. The other is located at the former Tamaki campus (TDC) on Morrin Road. The OGG data centre was commissioned in 2007. The Tamaki data centre was commissioned in 2014. The Tamaki data centre was built to replace a facility located on Symonds Street that was too close to the Owen G Glenn building to achieve the continuity needs of the University. University plans to retire the OGG data centre and migrate the services to the Tamaki data centre and a co-location provider. We would like to invite all data centre service providers that meet the Pre-Condition (Section 4) of this ROI to respond. |
