Description | Ida Public Schools is considering purchasing UPS battery backup units to ensure continuous internet connectivity . The requirements are as follows : OPTION 1 : 1 . Qty 6 – 2500 VA to 3000 VA UPS Battery Backup ( Network IDF Cabinets ) • Input plug type : NEMA 5 - 20P • Battery and surge - protected ( output ) outlets : minimum of 5 NEMA 5 - 20R o Adapters are acceptable • Rack - mountable , including all necessary rack - mount hardware • Maximum battery depth : 20 inches , our IDF cabinets have a usable rack depth of 22 . 5 inches • Automatic Voltage Regulation ( AVR ) must be included to protect connected loads from surges , spikes , lightning , brownouts , and other power disturbances • Interactive sine wave output is preferred • Network management card must be included in the price quote • Network management capability must support email alerts upon power loss 2 . Qty 2 – 5000 VA ( or higher ) UPS Battery Backup ( Network MDF Racks ) • Input plug type : NEMA L5 - 30P is currently available , NEMA L6 - 30P can be installed if necessary o Any electrical changes will be preformed by Ida Public Schools • Battery and surge - protected ( output ) outlets : minimum of 1 NEMA L5 - 30R and 2 NEMA L5 - 20R o Adapters are acceptable • Rack - mountable , including all necessary rack - mount hardware • Automatic Voltage Regulation ( AVR ) must be included to protect connected loads from surges , spikes , lightning , brownouts , and other power disturbances • Interactive sine wave output is preferred • Network management card must be included in the price quote • Network management capability must support email alerts upon power loss |
