The NHS Diabetes Programme is jointly delivered with Diabetes UK. Diabetes UK, the leading charity for those living with diabetes, provides subject matter expertise and the patient voice and has been part of the programme since it was launched 5 years ago. NHS England has a statutory duty to consult with citizens and patients on the commissioning and delivery of new healthcare services.
