UTVs for Field Training Operations

The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps ( AFROTC ) at Maxwell AFB , AL 36112 - 6334 , requires four Utility Task Vehicles ( UTVs ) to support field training operations at Maxwell AFB . These vehicles are essential for the transportation of personnel , equipment , and supplies across varied and rugged terrain within designated training areas . The UTVs are required for field training operations in accordance with ( IAW ) the attached Statement of Requirement ( SOR ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation ; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued . This amendment is to change the PSC to 2340 and the NAICS to 336999 with a corresponding Size Standard of 1000 Employees . NAICS codes starting with 42 ( wholesale ), 44 or 45 ( retail ) shall not be used to classify government acquisitions for supplies ; nor shall they be used by federal government contractors when subcontracting for the acquisition for supplies . It is mandated by the Small Business Administration ( SBA ). This amendment clarifies vendor inquiries about whether UTVs must include roofs and windshields . Per AFROTC requirements , all UTVs must be equipped with both a roof and a windshield . The amended SOR shall be added to the file along with the Q & A and Responses document . Due to these amendments and extension shall be added to this solicitation toMonday , 20 April , 2026 1 : 00PM CSTThis amendment clarifies vendor inquiries about transmission types and seating quantity .
