Description | The City invites bids from licensed vector control companies to provide rodent and cockroach control services for the City ’ s sanitary sewers . Sewer Rodent Control Program : As requested by the City , Contractor will inspect bait stations and when necessary rebait selected sanitary sewer manholes in the City of Redwood City . Maps will be provided by SMCMVCD to the Contractor upon award of contract . Contractor will conduct inspections on an as - needed basis for each designated manhole to check for consumed or deteriorated bait and to correct any deficiencies concerning the sewer baiting . A deficiency includes , but is not limited to vandalism , missing or damaged bait blocks . Sewer Cockroach Control Program : The work consists of opening and treating approximately 150 specifically selected sanitary sewer manholes in the City of Redwood City . Contractor will service manholes in the presence of SMCMVCD ’ s Vector Control Specialist or his / her representative . Contractor will conduct follow - up inspections at specified intervals to replace as necessary consumed or deteriorated bait and to correct any deficiencies concerning the bait stations . |
