RQQ - 2024 - ENQC - 888 Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Vendor of Record ( VOR ) for Technical Advisor Services – Signals Projects Please respond with intend to bid via Merx . The objective of this Request to Qualify and Quote ( RQQ ) is to solicit proposals from Proponents to establish a Vendor of Record (“ VOR ”) for the provision of Signals engineering / consulting services over a period of three ( 3 ) years plus two ( 2 ) optional one - year periods . The requirements are more particularly described in Scope of Work of this Request Document . Metrolinx requires qualified Consultants / Engineers with the necessary experience , qualifications and resources to perform the Work within Metrolinx - owned railway right - of - way and adjacent lands , on an as required basis . The Work may include the provision of : preliminary design ; detailed design ; concept design and development of new enhancements ; preparation of tender documents ; costing ; document preparation ; scheduling ; conducting worksite inspections and producing written reports on worksite inspections ; maintaining the position as owner ’ s representative and all associated responsibilities ; supervision of construction , including but not limited to field administration / engineer , and managing survey activities ; computation and drafting support ; technical advisor ; and management of services for Work to be completed on an as required basis , pertaining to Metrolinx Signals & Communications projects . This contract is to support works associated with At Grade Level Crossing Protection project which has a main objective to reduce risks at level crossings across the Metrolinx network .
