Description | There are several viaducts across Jefferson County that experience over height strikes as well as roadway flooding . This project attempts to improve safety and reliability of the roadway networks in and around the identified viaducts . As a pilot project , there will be different solutions installed to address over height strikes and flooding at the identified viaducts . The detection devices and equipment will relay the following information to the traveling public as well as government agencies : Roadway flooding at the viaduct There is an over height approaching at the viaduct . An over height vehicle has struck the viaduct . |
