1 . THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ( RFI ) ONLY . This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quotes ( RFQ ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future . This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever . Furthermore , the Government is not seeking quotations at this time and will not accept unsolicited offers . Interested vendors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Notice . All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party ’ s expense . Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ , if issued . It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement . 2 . The 30th Contracting Squadron ( 30 CONS ) is conducting market research to find potential vendors capable of performing annual Natural Gas Leak Detection Survey ’ s for fifty - five ( 55 ) miles of Gas Distribution service lines , valves , regulators , and all gas appurtenances located on VSFB but not to include the Military Family Housing area in accordance with Air Force Instruction 32 - 1067 , Section 7 . 2 . 2 Gas Systems . A draft performance work statement is attached to this post . The North American Industry Classification System Code ( NAICS ) for this requirement is 541990 – “ All other Professional , Scientific , and Technical Services ” with the corresponding size standard of $ 19 . 5 million . 3 . The information that is received from this notice will be used to make the best decision on how to proceed with this acquisition .
