SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED The Contractor shall provide three ( 3 ) forty ( 40 ) cubic yard containers and one ( 1 ) ten ( 10 ) cubic yard container for disposal of non - hazardous waste . The containers shall be placed at CMC West Facility Building # 424 . The Institution Contract Liaison or designee will notify the Contractor when containers need to be picked up and replaced with empty containers . The Contractor shall make the exchange within two ( 2 ) business days of notification . Service calls for the containers shall not exceed five ( 5 ) pick - ups per month per container . The Contractor shall deliver containers to the locations indicated by the Institution Contract Liaison or designee prior to commencement of services . A location can be changed at any time at the discretion of the institution . The Institution Contract Liaison or designee will provide twenty - four ( 24 ) hour notice to the Contractor of any location changes . In the event the Contractor fails to provide services within the time specified , the State reserves the right to have services provided by another vendor at the Contractor ’ s expense . Any amounts owed to the State because of this action shall be deducted from the Contractor ’ s monthly invoice . Waste such as concrete , lumber , and green waste must be recycled or reused . The Institution Contract Liaison or designee will ensure that only one type of non - hazardous waste is deposited in each roll - off container . 5 . CONTAINER UNLOADING Roll off containers shall be exchanged , empty for full , the full container sealed to prevent spillage and drippings , and removed in accordance with the schedule of service specified herein . 6 . CONTAINER MAINTENANCE The Contractor shall maintain containers in good mechanical condition . The containers must be steam - cleaned quarterly . All containers will be painted annually or more often as deemed necessary by the Institution Contract Liaison or designee . Steam cleaning and painting shall not be performed on State property unless specifically requested by the Institution Contract Liaison or designee and shall be completed at Contractor ’ s expense . The Contractor shall furnish additional containers on an exchange basis the maintenance of containers is performed .
