Description | 1 . Routine Service Standards a . Material Collection : The Contractor shall collect all refuse placed within containers , excluding hazardous materials . Title to waste transfers to the Contractor upon loading . b . Service Schedule : • Service shall be provided Monday through Saturday , excluding University - recognized holidays unless otherwise directed . • All routes and frequencies must be submitted in writing no later than two ( 2 ) weeks prior to contract start and approved by SSU through a formal amendment . • Unauthorized schedule changes are prohibited . c . Service Window : All dumpster servicing shall occur strictly between 5 : 30 a . m . and 10 : 00 a . m . Deviations require prior written approval . d . Container Handling : Containers must be returned immediately to their original location , upright , with lids and doors fully secured and open . Staging or delayed return is prohibited . e . Noise Control : The Contractor shall employ noise - reduction practices and is prohibited from striking containers against vehicles . |
