WATER METER ITRON REPLACEMENT PROGRAM 2 - STEP JOB ORDER CONTRACT

The City of Phoenix is seeking qualified contractors to do business on an on - call basis to provide installation services in support of the City ' s Advanced Metering Infrastructure ( AMI ) Water Meter Replacement Program Job Order Contracting Services . Up to two contractors may be selected for this Job Order Contract based on the City ’ s workload . The Small Business Enterprise goal has been waived for this project . 2 . Project Description At a minimum , the Contractor will be expected to successfully perform the following construction services , including , but not limited to : • Replacing 3 / 4 inch and larger meters ONLY when existing meters are older than 18 - 20 years old with prior City approval . • Replacing of Encoder Receiver Transmitters ( ERT ) on meters to AMI Itron ERT . • Providing service line plumbing upgrades as needed , such as replacement of curb stops , pressure relief valves and check valves , repair of galvanized lines or replumbing due to meter lay length differences . • Completing of minor site restoration as needed , such as meter box replacements or resets in concrete and dirt with prior City approval . • The City ’ s preference is to use their city - wide Mobile Work - Order Management system for all work performed . Proposers can provide , as an option , their proprietary Work Order Management Systems for consideration by the City . • Coordinating with City staff and AMI Engineering Consultant for endpoint activation and data integration . • Contractors will be responsible for the disposal of all electronic and environmental waste generated during this project . • Recycling old meters will be the responsibility of the contractor based on terms established by the City . • Providing all labor , materials , tools , and miscellaneous equipment necessary to complete the work safely and efficiently , in compliance with City of Phoenix standards . • The City of Phoenix will not provide warehousing space for Contractors to work out of for this project . Contractors should procure warehousing / office space for the duration of their contract .
