The Division of Public Works ( DPW ) oversees state - wide facilities management and construction in the various aspects of building , remodeling , maintaining , and leasing state buildings . Additional services such as security and grounds and building maintenance are also offered . The State of Idaho is accepting proposals from qualified firms that can provide complete Water Treatment Services for all heating water systems , all cooling towers , and all chilled water systems at multiple facilities owned and operated by the State . All hourly work performed during the hours of 7 : 00 a . m . through 5 : 00 p . m ., Monday through Friday , must be invoiced at a non - emergency hourly rate . All work requested by the Facilities Manager to be performed between the hours of 5 : 01 p . m . until 6 : 59 a . m ., Monday through Friday , weekends and holidays , must be invoiced at the emergency hourly rate . For emergency services , the Contractor must respond within thirty ( 30 ) minutes after being contacted and begin work within two ( 2 ) hours of notification regardless of the day of the week or time of day , unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of the notification . Contractor must be available for emergency work three hundred sixty - five ( 365 ) days a year , twenty - four ( 24 ) hours a day . Contractor must perform all specified service work using trained , skilled , and licensed individuals supervised by the Contractor . Contractor must supply all labor , materials , equipment , supervision and technical expertise necessary for the prevention and control of corrosion , sediment , fungus , algae , bacteria , and freeze protection ( glycol ) where applicable , for the chiller , boiler , cooling tower , and heat exchanger water systems . The Contractor is fully responsible for performing services with trained service personnel , including delivery of parts / equipment / materials to multiple locations , handling , installation , and all disposals ; leaving all serviced equipment and the service area safe , clean , and ready for use ; and providing a signed copy of the work order to the Facilities Manager upon completion of service .
