SCOPE OF SERVICES The Scope of Services shall include , but is not limited to , the following : Phase I : Preliminary Investigation Kickoff meeting with City staff to review its understanding of the project requirements . Assemble and review existing plans , surveys , utility connections and other information available for the project site . Visit the site to investigate existing conditions to identify opportunities , constraints , etc . Meet with City staff to obtain additional information and input from various City departments . Perform topographic survey work , as required to produce complete and accurate base sheets for construction document purposes . ( Confirm with City Engineering what survey data is needed ). Perform utility location and depth verification , as required . Perform soils testing , as required to ascertain the soil ’ s suitability for the use types proposed . Prepare an updated project schedule . Phase II : Community Engagement and Conceptual Design Using the existing conceptual design ( Exhibit C ) or an updated version of the plan , present at up to three ( 3 ) community engagement meetings with the goal of collecting feedback to guide conceptual design changes . Develop an online survey option to virtually collect input from residents related to the initial conceptual design . Review plans and estimates with City staff . Incorporate feedback received in person and through the survey to refine the conceptual design . Present updated design options at up to three ( 3 ) additional community engagement meetings with the goal of collecting community feedback to help guide conceptual design changes to develop a final recommended design . Develop an online survey option to virtually collect input from residents related to the final conceptual design . Review plans and estimates with City staff and incorporate requested revisions .
