Description | WDC Future Procurement Activity – HARPOverview:This notice provides advance notification of RFP for the Hokitika Airport Resilience Project (HARP) that will be released for tender in April 2026.WDC are seeking to engage a competent contractor experienced in Airfield Construction to complete works over the 2026/2027 Summer season.The scope of work includes:Construction of lengthened starter extensions at each end of the existing main runwayAsphaltic concrete resealing works for existing runway, extensions and interface areasIncreasing the existing apron size to accommodate multiple aircraft movementsUpgrading airfield drainage to support the runway and apron worksRelevant pre‑qualifications will be listed in the RFP documentation. |
