Description | The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified independent contractors to provide website upgrade and ongoing maintenance services . The selected contractor will provide services that may include , but are not limited to : Phase 1 – Website Upgrade ( April 15 , 2026 – June 15 , 2026 ); The contractor will : Review current website infrastructure ; Redesign or refresh site layout and navigation ; Ensure mobile responsiveness ; Improve accessibility ( WCAG 2 . 1 AA preferred ); Optimize performance and basic SEO ; Implement security best practices ( SSL , backups , updates ); Integrate donation and communication tools ; Phase 2 – Ongoing Maintenance ( Through June 30 , 2027 ); The contractor will : Perform routine CMS and plugin updates ; Provide security monitoring and regular backups ; Troubleshoot technical issues ; Provide minor content updates as requested ; Respond in a timely manner for routine issues ; Provide a timely response when notified of outages |
