The purpose of this call for tender is to commission an overall solution that can provide a multi-device, multilingual streaming service for the live and on-demand coverage of plenary and committee meetings and media events of significance to the Parliament. The aim is to assure the technical renewal and continuation of the current procedural streaming of the European Parliament, however updated for modern formats and workflows. The tenderer is invited to make an offer for a contract of services to implement and operate the future video streaming platform of the European Parliament. This includes the infrastructure as a service, software as a service, operational support and maintenance services that, as a minimum, match the current streaming functionalities offered on the European Parliament's website (Europarl) and to support the functional and the technological evolution in the course of the contract.
