West Towne Path Phase 2B

The West Towne Path from Zor Shrine Place to Gammon Road is proposed to be constructed in 2028 . The project is anticipated to include numerous retaining walls along USH 12 ( Beltline ). Path lighting and local Storm Sewer will be included in the design . The Plans , Specifications and Estimate ( PSE ) package is due to WisDOT on August 1 , 2027 . The City has performed preliminary engineering , 30 % plans , one public information meeting scheduled in April 2025 and expect a signed environmental document in June 2025 . The Consultant services are assumed to pick up where the City design has progressed to and complete 60 % plans and DSR through Final PSE package and Construction . Construction Engineering will be performed by WisDOT . A path was built in 2025 from High Point Road to Zor Shrine Place and will be the western tie - in for this project . The Eastern tie - in will be the existing pedestrian / bicycle underpass of Gammon Road . The project will require traffic control during construction . A Transportation Project Plat or document similar will be completed for acquiring right of way and grading easements if needed . The project is proposed to be funded by Surface Transportation Block Grant ( STBG ) funds and will be let through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation ( WisDOT ) Local Program .
