WFP Water Standpipe Replacement Siting Study , Planning and Design

The following list of tasks is provided below to aid the Service Provider in identifying the scope of services required for this contract . The following lists are not all - inclusive . The Service Provider will : A . PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION • Coordinate with and manage the consultant ’ s project team and subconsultants on specific tasks , manage scope and budget to facilitate successful execution of the project . • Attend project kick - off meeting and attend regular progress meetings , either remotely or in - person , with the City ’ s project manager and • Conduct workshop ( s ) with the City to review possible siting locations , pipeline alignment routes , construction methods and materials , and discussion and evaluation of alternatives . Workshops are assumed to be held in - person . • Work with the City to develop progress report submittals and Quarterly Invoicing to DOH , including report content that describes project milestones and activities . • Provide Quality Assurance / Quality Control on all key milestones and all project deliverables . • Provide monthly project invoicing and status reports to the City . B . ENGINEERING SERVICES • Develop alternative sites for the standpipe , standpipe and / or water storage tank types , and routes for pipeline to and from the standpipe for evaluation . • Develop weighted evaluation criteria for evaluating the alternatives . Criteria may include but is not limited to engineering considerations , operations and maintenance , environmental impacts , resiliency , constructability and costs . • Provide site reconnaissance , interview plant staff , review existing information on the plant water system and standpipe . • Geotechnical investigation for the short list of alternatives with full geotechnical report for the preferred alternative at Pre - design phase . • Evaluate alternatives against the evaluation criteria and provide scoring . Prepare siting , tank type , and route study memorandum documenting analysis of the alternatives , including costs , and identify a preferred alternative . • Provide a Basis of Design report with pre - design plans for City and DOH review . • Provide documentation of and response to comments from all reviewers . • Review and provide design for upgrades to security and instrumentation associated with the standpipe system . • Provide full design services including , standard design review submittals at 30 %, 60 %, 90 % and 100 % review levels . Provide plans specifications and engineer ’ s estimate at each benchmark . • Provide bid documents to ad for construction , services during bidding and update conformed set of “ for construction ” documents .
