Description | Murray City is soliciting bids for Project No . 26 - 03 , Winchester PRV Replacement . The project includes construction of a new pressure reducing valve near East Winchester Street and State Street , along with associated pipeline improvements . Work includes installation of two PRVs , 6 - inch and 12 - inch , designed to operate within the pressures and flow rates identified in the specifications . The project also requires approximately 400 linear feet of ductile iron pipe and related vault and connection work as shown in the contract documents . Construction activities include mobilization , traffic control planning and permitting , potholing , PRV construction , and ductile iron pipe installation . The valve manufacturer must provide factory testing , on - site startup assistance , and training for City personnel . The work will be performed for the Murray City Public Works Department under the terms and conditions set forth in the bidding and contract documents |
