Classification of the products to be procured : 15, 2 Nature and quantity of the products to be purchased : Wireless LAN Access Point System Set Type of the procurement : Purchase Basi requirements of the procurement : A The university's current wireless LAN system consists of approximately 1,20 access points (APs) deployed on campus and at affiliated off-campus facilities, together with two wireless LAN controllers (WLCs) in a redundant configuration. Under this procurement, 80 of the APs and both WLCs are to be replaced, and unified management must remain possible for the remaining 40 APs after the upgrade. Proposals that replace all 1,20 APs and both WLCs in a single project are also acceptable. B Replacement APs shall comply with Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11be) and meet Japanese radio regulations for use of the GHz and GHz band. If Wi-Fi is adopted, it is desirable that MLO (Multi-Link Operation) can be enabled/disabled and that per-link quality metrics and statistical data can be obtained. C Please provide information on the following wireless security capabilities : WPA3-Enterprise (802.1X) authentica tion ; SSID-to-VLAN segmentation ; Layer- isolation between clients and guests ; WIP ; rogue AP detection ; Syslog export ; SNMPv ; NTP time synchronization ; integration with RADIUS/LDAP ; and support for eduroam and visitor Wi-Fi. D APs shall connect to the wired LAN at Gbps or higher and operate reliably with PoE compliant with IEEE 802.3at (and 802.3bt where required). Please also indicate whether existing mounting bases can be reused. E For operations and management, please provide documentation on : AP status monitoring (number of connected clients, RF quality, alerting, etc.) ; heat-ma visualization and report generation ; and remote reboot methods via PoE control or through SNMP/API. F Please provide information on deployment deliverables, namely the wireless site survey, design drawings (AP coordinates and mounting height), test plans and test results, and operational runbooks/procedures. G As the equipment procured under this project is expected to be operated for at least five years, please provide information on the relevant software licensing, software updates and security patch delivery, and the technical support structure, including a Japan-based TAC with Japanese-language support.
