Description | The project generally consists of the following : 1 . Modify existing digested sludge mechanical dewatering system for temporary use during the execution of this Contract . 2 . Construct new dewatering building to house new process equipment to the south of the existing Control Building . 3 . Receive and assume custody of two ( 2 ) OWNER procured Centrifuges and appurtenances . 4 . Install Owner - procured centrifuges in new dewatering building . Provide support services for Centrifuge functional testing and startup commissioning services . 5 . Furnish , install , functional test , and provide startup services , complete and functional with interconnection piping and valves , and electrical and control systems , as shown on the Drawings and as described herein , for the following : a . Centrifuge appurtenances b . Pumping Systems ( Sludge Pumps , Polymer Pumps ) c . Polymer Mix Tank / Day Tank and Appurtenances d . Polymer Blending and Feed Equipment and Appurtenances e . Piping , Valves , Supports , and Appurtenances f . Process Control and Instrumentation 6 . Yard piping improvements 7 . Civil site grading , drainage , paving improvement . |
