The UNDP Pacific Multi‑Country Office, in partnership with the Yap State Legislature, invites qualified and experienced vendors to submit proposals for the Yapese–English AI Translation System (Foundation Phase), issued under the Pacific Parliamentary Hub Digital Transformation Initiative. This procurement seeks capable firms or consortia with demonstrated expertise in natural language processing, Indigenous and low‑resource language digitisation, ethical AI, community‑centred engagement, and culturally grounded data governance. The selected vendor will support the development of a foundational technical, linguistic, and ethical framework enabling future full‑scale AI translation capabilities tailored to parliamentary communication and legislative workflows.
