Yellowstone River - Huntley

The Montana Department of Transportation is accepting proposals from consulting firms interested in the preparation of the construction plans and specifications for Yellowstone River - Huntley . This project was nominated to replace the existing bridge on State Primary Route 264 ( structure 04863 ) from RP 8 . 6 to 8 . 9 spanning the Yellowstone River . The selected consultant will be required to provide all services necessary for the project including ( but not limited to ) bridge design ; roadway design ; geotechnical investigation , analysis , and design ; survey ; environmental evaluation and permitting ; hydraulic analysis and design ; public involvement ; local agency and other stakeholder coordination ; R / W design ; and potentially R / W acquisition . Please note that while consultants are expected to demonstrate their ability to provide services through final PS & E , the project design will be scoped in phases . MDT will reassess internal resources at the AGR milestone and may elect to complete the remaining design work in - house , which could result in early termination of the consultant ’ s contract . If MDT assumes responsibility for the design after AGR , the selected consultant may still be retained to provide support as needed . By submitting a proposal , the consultant affirms its capacity to complete the required work in accordance with the negotiated project schedule . The consultant must also demonstrate a robust internal quality assurance / quality control ( QA / QC ) process that meets or exceeds industry standards for engineering deliverables .
