SOURCES SOUGHT ( MARKET SURVEY ): The National Park Service ( NPS ) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of contractors for a possible upcoming project . All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm . Any information submitted is voluntary . The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey . Work will occur at Pullman National Historical Park in Chicago , IL . The work will consist of : Providing all labor , materials , tools and other equipment necessary to build - out the second floor to enhance NPS ability to provide education and community outreach programs and support NPS with additional office space . The third floor shall be designed for storage and the potential for partner leasing . Other improvements include : Elevator installation within existing white box shaft to serve all three levels ; expand HVAC to all three levels ; restrooms for assembly , storage and business occupancies ; Finishes including flooring , acoustical ceilings , painting , doors , audio visual systems , computer network wiring , lighting , electrical , fire alarm , and fire sprinkler modifications .
