This project will provide a new electrical service upgrade for the campus . The project scope will include demolition of existing electrical equipment and generators from Building 16 as well as the building itself . A new addition will be added to Building 1 for the primary switchgear and the new generators . The new equipment upgrades will include three ( 3 ) emergency generators , associated automatic transfer switches ( ATSs ) and three ( 3 ) new unit substations . The project includes a 6 , 600 square foot addition to the south side of Building 1 for the installation of new campus electrical distribution equipment . The project also includes the installation of ( 3 ) new 600 kW standby generators for the campus .
